I´ve been to your concert at Berlin Kreuzberg with my hole family and some friends:
It was fantastic!
We´ve been grooving and dancing all the time. Brilliant!
Great songs, great band with so many gorgeous musicians, great performance by this excellent conductor Mr. Pax Nicholas!
It was so drifty, warm, light but impulsive and heavy too. It was a perfect mix of the Fela-Kuti-Songs, your own material and those nice traditionals from Ghana: you bring it all together.
We like it so much. Now your great four-track-album with the fourty years old recordings is spinning round and round, but 35 minutes are too short! I hope, you will do some more songs, soon.
When will be your next concert in Berlin?
We´ll see:

Pax Nicholas (* 7. August 1954 in Accra) – auch bekannt als Nicholas Addo-Nettey – ist ein ghanaischer Sänger und Percussionist. Er ist eines der wenigen immer noch musikalisch aktiven ehemaligen Mitglieder von Fela Kutis legendärer Band Africa 70. 2009 verhalf ihm die Wiederveröffentlichung seines Solo-Albums „Na Teef Know De Road Of Teef“ aus dem Jahr 1973 bei dem renommierten New Yorker Funk´n´Soul-Label Daptone Records zu später Berühmtheit. Mit seiner aktuellen Band Ridimtaksi verbindet er klassischen und modernen Afrobeat mit US-amerikanischem Soul und ghanaischem Highlife.
